N342 - ËKAHA-KÜ-MOANA VERY LIMITED EDITION MATERIALS: Black Coral Rods & Silver Inlaid Black Coral SIZE: 16” to 20” with chain That’s the Hawaiian name for Black Coral. These beautiful pieces were sent to me by my friend, Momo, whose family has been harvesting Black Coral for three generations in the deep waters off Hawaii. (They are not endangered and are harvested with the greatest of care for the environment.) To set off their beauty, I’ve paired them with Turkish Silver and Silver inlaid Ebony beads. I only have enough Coral to make a few pieces of this stunning necklace that will be the envy of everyone who sees it. |
